Álex Márquez (Ducati) earned pole position for the Argentinian GP with a time of 1:43.881, set in a qualifying session affected by rain. Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati) and Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) will accompany him on the front row of the grid at Termas de Río Hondo in the sprint race and Sunday’s race.
Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), Johann Zarco (Ducati), Luca Marini (Ducati), Jorge Martín (Ducati), Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) completed the Top 10.
The sprint race takes place on Saturday at 8 PM (CEST).
Track conditions affect qualifying for Repsol Honda Team
Joan Mir could not get out of Q1 in the Argentinian GP. The Spaniard struggled with a qualifying session held in rainy conditions and will start 18th on the grid.
