We could have fought for the victory on the last corner but Di Giannantonio braked very late and it was too risky

We fought for the victory from the start, but it was a very difficult race. The KTM riders passed us on the straights, so the strategy for both Di Giannantonio and I was to return the pass as quickly as possible -and in the end it went well. I think we could have fought for the victory on the last corner but Di Giannantonio braked very late and it was too risky. We took second position, we’re fourth in the standings and 21 points off the leader, and we’ll continue working hard.

Despite not getting a good start, after a couple of corners I was already starting to recover positions -but an incident with another rider made me almost crash and I lost some places again. I fought back and I was waiting to start attacking, but when I was twelfth I had to save a crash. I lost two seconds there that left me a little behind. Luckily my foot is fine and I’m recovering very fast.
