Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati) claimed the first pole at the Buddh International Circuit in MotoGP. In a day full of action, he set the best time with a 1:43.947. Jorge Martín (Ducati) and Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) closed the Top 3.
The riders who completed the Top10 were Luca Marini (Ducati), Joan Mir (Repsol Honda), Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda), Johann Zarco (Ducati), Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) and Aleix Espargaró ( Aprilia).
Best qualifying results of the season for Repsol Honda Team
The Repsol Honda Team riders reaffirmed their good feeling from Friday and took good results.
Marc Márquez finished the morning free practice session in seventh position, having fine-tuned the setup of his RC213V. In qualifying, the Repsol Honda Team rider managed to maintain his good performance and, despite having suffered a small crash at Turn 3, he will start sixth in both races this weekend.
Joan Mir also showed a good pace during the morning, finishing in the Top 10 in the free practice session. In Q2, he set several fast laps that placed him among the quickest on the timesheets, and he will start from the second row of the grid, in fifth position.
