This year will be special because it will be the first time that a circuit dedicates a corner to me, and I’m very excited about that
Since the inauguration of the circuit in 2010, the reigning MotoGP World Champion has racked up four victories at the Spanish circuit: One in Moto2 (2011) and three in MotoGP (2013, 2016 and 2017).
Dani Pedrosa has been on the podium at the Aragón GP on five occasions, one of them as the race winner (2012).
Last year the Repsol Honda Team claimed a one-two finish, with Marc Márquez first and Dani Pedrosa second.
Márquez has completed a quartet of podiums at Spanish rounds three times (2013, 2016 and 2017). This year he has rostrums at the two races held in Spain so far: At Jerez and Barcelona.

I always enjoy going to Aragón like every time I race in front of my fan club and my home crowd. I also like the track; I’ve had good results there in the past and it would be good to achieve another one. Can’t wait to get there and enjoy one more Spanish GP!
