2019 Great Britain GP – Rider statements
Hopefully we can enjoy a great race in Silverstone. We have certainly had some bad luck in the past, but this year we are showing that we are much stronger at circuits where in the past we haven’t been so I am feeling good for the weekend.
We will see what the new surface is like because in the past Silverstone has been quite bumpy and of course we’ll see what the weather does.
It is very good to be back with the Repsol Honda Team, it has been a long time since Assen. I would have liked to have been back sooner, but the nature of the injury meant I had to take my time. While away from the track, I have been working hard to be as ready as possible for Silverstone but I know it will take some time to get back up to speed.
I am pleased and ready to be back with the team so we can keep improving and get the results we know we can achieve.
