Márquez and Pedrosa try their hand at football as player-coaches

The dream for young riders is to emulate Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa, and one day get to MotoGP. The dream for young football players is to take part in the World Cup. Tomorrow, the Spanish national team have an important game against Iran, in their second match of the tournament held in Russia this summer.

Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa, who finished second and fifth last Sunday at the Catalan Grand Prix, took part in some training with young football talents – First in the role of coaches and then as players, even scoring two goals.

In their talk before the game, the Repsol Honda Team riders passed on their recipe for success in any discipline: Enthusiasm, confidence and hard work. Based on their experience, the two multi-time World Champions stressed that in difficult times, support from their peers is essential.
