The circuit became part of the World Championship in 2010, and Repsol Honda has claimed victory in 7 out of the eleven GPs that have been held there. The Aragón track has staged many Repsol Honda victories.
12 podiums in eleven races, seven of which were in the top spot. This is what our riders have achieved to date at this circuit, which is one of the newest on the World Championship calendar. Despite this, it is slowly becoming one of the classics for our fans.

2011: double win for Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa
2011 was a very special year for both Repsol Honda and our rider Casey Stoner. The Australian managed to bag the World Championship title, the second of his sporting career, and his success was partly down to his amazing performance in Aragón. The Australian has fond memories of this race on the circuit, which was his last. Second place went to Dani Pedrosa, meaning a historic double win for the Team.
2012: Pedrosa takes away the victory
A regular on the podium at this circuit, coming in second position in 2010, 2011, and 2015, Pedrosa claimed victory in 2012. Number 26 is a dab hand at the MotorLand circuit, and he is one of the favourites to bag a win at the Aragón GP.
2013: Márquez’s début in the category and his first victory
How can we forget Marc Márquez’ spectacular début on a MotoGP bike in the Aragón GP? In his first year in the MotoGP category, he came out victor at the Aragón track after having started in pole position and getting the fastest lap in the race. In this way, he left his stamp on the circuit, always reminding us that it is one of his favourites.
2016: Márquez claims another victory in the Aragón GP
During a difficult season where Marc’s consistency was the key to winning the World Championship, the Aragón GP was a decisive step before facing up to the Asian tour. He stepped up and got his second win on the circuit.
2017 One-Two for Marc & Dani
Both Dani and Marc perform well at this circuit, and they did a fantastic job at the 2017 Aragón GP, making one of the best and most exciting races ever in Repsol Honda history
2018 Marc Márquez dominates
In 2018 Number 93 gifted us one of his classic duels with championship rival Andrea Dovizioso. After a very demanding race, where each turn counted towards victory, the rider from Cervera got ahead taking home the 25 points and gaining a greater lead in the standings.
2019, Pole, fast lap and victory of Marc Márquez
2019 gave us a race dominated from start to finish by Marc Marquez. The Cervera’s took the pole and gave no option to his rivals during the race. He led all the laps and rolled all the way within several seconds of his rivals, setting the fastest lap and ending the race with a great victory that left him with the title on a plate.
