A new trio of races awaits the Repsol Honda Team riders this month. The first stop is the Misano Marco Simoncelli Circuit, where two consecutive races will be held, starting this weekend with the San Marino GP from September 11th to 13th.
Álex Márquez reaches the sixth race of his rookie MotoGP season, visiting a track where he has been on the podium three times before in other classes: 3rd in 2019 and 2013, and 2nd in 2014.
Stefan Bradl will continue as a replacement for the injured Marc Márquez, helping the Repsol Honda Team with development of the RC213V. The German rider was on the second step of the podium at Misano in 2011, when competing in Moto2.

MotoGP San Marino 2020 – rider statements
Álex Márquez
“It has been nice to return home, relax a little, see the family and keep training. Austria did not go exactly as I wanted it to, but I am determined to comeback stronger this weekend.
We had a good battle and result in Misano in the esport race earlier this year, hopefully we can have a good race again! Misano is a circuit with a lot of variety, the tight opening section and the faster back section.”
Stefan Bradl
“I am happy to be back with the Repsol Honda Team for Misano. We made some good progress in the first three races and I have good experience around Misano.
Like always, it’s going to be a busy weekend, but we are starting with more information and data than the previous rounds which will help us be stronger from the start. Let’s see what the weekend brings.”
