You already know that I like to win everything. I’ve even hoped my players would score against Barça (I’m a Barça supporter) to improve their score. Don’t get me wrong though, that’s only been when the game’s outcome is fairly clear hehehehe.
Hi everyone!
Really, I started this like anybody else. One day you find out that people in your group of friends are playing and, when they’re talking about it, they ask you if you want to play. Since I like football, I decided to give it try and since then I’ve been in a “mini league” with 14 other friends. To make the whole thing more exciting, we have a small bet riding on it where the last seven treat the first seven to a dinner.
Luckily, I usually don’t have to pay up. I came in second in the last league even though I didn’t spend too much time on it because it was during the MotoGP season. In total, I spend about 5 or 10 minutes on it per day. I usually open the app during breakfast. That’s my time to play and have a bit of fun. During the racing season I can’t follow La Liga matches because we have too much to do. Although, to be honest, at the end of the day I always find some time to check the results and the players’ scores.
Like everyone who plays Comunio knows, you’re always afraid of ending up with a negative balance and not scoring points that day. I ended up without a score a few times because of some poor last-minute management. It was when I was outside of Europe. The time change makes it a little difficult, and I’m not going to set my alarm for 3 a.m. to play Comunio. Hahaha!
Here are some tips to play that have worked well for me. I hope they will help you:
• I prefer to sign the best players who are in high demand and will play above and beyond. In that sense, I try to play it safe.
• I always try to have one of the best on my team, one of the forwards from Real Madrid, Barça, Atlético de Madrid, or Sevilla, from the teams that score the most goals.
• I really like the forwards. I think they’re the ones who make the biggest difference because they usually score a lot of points. I almost always play with three up top.
• I like to discover players. Every once in a while I take a risk with one, but since I don’t have time to watch the matches I don’t do it often.
• I like to stick it out with the players I started with, but I keep track of the dynamics. It’s also important to sign a player on streak towards the end of the season.
• In my opinion, the key to winning is like the key to the Motorcycling World Championship. It’s important to be consistent throughout the Championship and avoid scoring zero points (when you don’t handle the finances correctly, you’re in the red and you don’t score any points). In other words, avoid finishing days without a score because it really hurts you at the end.
I think that with these tips, you’re sure to do well.

I know what you’re thinking: “Have you ever thought of playing with other riders, since you’re together so much during the season?” The truth is that it’d be difficult to play Comunio with everyone else because we’re all pretty competitive. So if we all started playing a game, we’d get even more competitive! Hahaha!
It would be cool if there were a Comunio for the MotoGP World Championship. You’d have to really think about how to make it and have a good scoring system. It’d be difficult because in football there’s more variety; you can have a good match or a bad match. But with motorcycles, when a Championship starts, the people in the lead almost always tend to stay there and it’d be difficult to score. But it’s possible.
And that’s all I’ve got to tell you about my Comunio hobby! I hope everyone who plays continues enjoying this passion we share. Thanks for reading and for your support!
Marc Márquez.
