I want to congratulate Jaime, for accompanying me on the podium. He has an amazing level and I knew that these good results would arrive.
The race in Lourdes was demanding. The morning rain left the zones with some mud and it was not easy to get good results.
Fourth win of the season in 5 rounds for Toni Bou, which places him with a 13-points advantage in the overall standings.
Jaime Busto achieved his second podium in the World Championship after the one he got in the previous round in Andorra.
Takahisa Fujinami also fought for the honour places and he finished fourth after some small mistakes in some zones during the first lap.
The next race of the Trial World Championship, fifth round of the calendar, will take place next July 9th at Tong, Great Britain.

After the race in Andorra, having good feelings again was very important to me and I fought to be comfortable in this trial. Yesterday, I achieved the pole position and today I was able to ride well, finished the second lap with a zero. Everything was positive and this win is very important for the Championship. I want to congratulate Jaime also, for accompanying me on the podium. He has an amazing level and I knew that these good results would arrive. It was a very good weekend and I’m very happy with how everything went.

I’m very happy because it was a difficult race for me. My ribs were hurting from the Trial in Andorra and it bothered me quite a bit, but once I was in the race, I was able to hold quite well during the race. The zones were good in the first lap and, after drying, they were a bit easier.
Takahisa Fujinami
Until mid-race I didn’t do bad, but I got nervous about the time and I failed in the last zone. I think that it could be finished and that affected me. In the second lap, I saved some points and I finished close to Jaime, who in the end had his second podium of the year. I think I have to congratulate him and also Toni. My result isn’t bad, considering I was close to finish on the podium.
