Marcelli recovering from fracture to right foot

Gabriel Marcelli had a crash during the second round of the X-Trial season in Madrid, injuring his right foot. Despite the pain, the rider was able to finish the race in second place. Tests carried out last week in Barcelona by the team doctor, Dr. Joaquim Terricabras, confirmed a non-displaced marginal fracture to the first metatarsal of his right foot, and a programme of conservative treatment was established that allowed him to participate in the Barcelona X-Trial.

The rider’s recovery will determine his return to training, although the Repsol Honda Team man is expected to participate in the opening round of the Spanish Trial Championship, which will take place in the Galician town of Arteixo on April 23rd and 24th.
