The fifth round of the X-Trial World Championship, held today in Andorra, saw Toni Bou crowned king of the discipline once again. The Repsol rider took advantage of his lead in the standings to seal his eighteenth indoor trials honour -his 36th overall.
He arrived at the Andorran round on a run of four consecutive victories in the four events held this season and, with Saturday’s result, took his first opportunity to become champion, with two events remaining.
Since Toni Bou joined the Repsol Honda Team in 2007, the Spanish rider has won all the world titles available in both the outdoor and indoor series, completing 18 uninterrupted seasons in which he has won the two World Championships. Toni Bou’s next appearances will be on October 26th in Estonia and November 16th in Pamplona, in the last two events on the 2024 calendar.
