“I’m very happy with this victory, as yesterday I had a bad qualifying and today I had to go out with the first riders of the category. The race was very complicated, but I felt well from the beginning, making few mistakes. The second lap was more difficult, due to the rain and mud, and I did some 5 due to lack of confidence in the terrain. I felt well, physically, though in the second lap my back hurt a bit, but I felt better than I expected. It was a great start for the championship and I want to congratulate the organization, as it was a very complete trial, with some very authentic areas.”

“Last week we were already deciding if I should participate in this first race or not, as my shoulder isn’t at 100% yet. I wanted to test and I did it. I started well, but I got more tired every time and my back and arms bothered me. Nevertheless, I’m very happy with the result: an eighth position is very good for the championship.”
