Toni Bou has been unstoppable again in the X-Trial World Championship and in 2019 he took his twenty fifth title, the thirteenth in X-Trial, that need to be added to the twelve he achieved in TrialGP. Since he joined the Repsol Honda Team in 2007, the rider from Piera started a winning streak with no match in the sport.

Of the six rounds of the 2019 calendar, Bou won five.
Nevertheless, his second position in Barcelona made the excitement last until the second-to-last race, when he was able to mathematically secure the title. After the podium at the Palau Sant Jordi, he took four consecutive wins and he felt physically better round after round, after the injuries he suffered last season.

His teammate, Takahisa Fujinami, also took part in three of the six races, achieving his best result in the last round, when he finished fifth in Andorra and eighth in the overall standings. Next May 25th, they will both start a new edition of the TrialGP World Championship in Italy.
