There’s nothing better than winning the World Championship by winning a race
Toni Bou, first during Saturday’s tests, had the third position after the first pass through the zones.
After a brilliant second pass, the Repsol Honda Team rider secured his sixth win of the year.
With this result, Bou takes his twelfth World Championship crown –to add to the 12 he already had in the outdoor series-, with one race to go to finish the World Championship season.
The team also scooped the manufacturers’ title, the twentieth world Trial title.
Takahisa Fujinami, second at the end of the first pass, finished the round in fourth place.

Today it was a very special day. We knew this race wouldn’t be easy and we couldn’t make mistakes. I got a very strict failure in zone seven, which made me fight even harder during the rest of the race. The end was very close, as with another five I could end sixth or seventh, but if I didn’t make any mistake, I could win. A lot of nerves and pressure, but there’s nothing better than winning the World Championship by winning a race. We’re very happy because it was a very complicated year due to the injuries. Now we get to celebrate with the team.
