Winners of the Moto2 and Moto3 categories in 2017, now race in categories that are the equivalent in the World Championship
FIM CEV Repsol 2018 will kick off on 25th March. In addition to the traditional Moto3 and Moto2 categories, this year the European Talent Cup will once again take centre stage, giving the most talented young riders the opportunity to make their début as part of a professional team. This competition aims to provide a valuable experience to those who aspire to race in the most demanding categories of the World Championship — MotoGP and Superbikes.
The chance to race on circuits that are currently part of the World Championship calendar such as Jerez, Motorland, or Estoril is a great opportunity for the participants. Gonzalo Gobert, director of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit tells us that FIM CEV Repsol is one of the reasons why Spain is the country of choice for many international competitors, who go there to train and compete.
Eric Granado and Dennis Foggia, winners of the Moto2 and Moto3 categories in 2017, now race in categories that are the equivalent in the World Championship. Manuel Gonzalez or “Manugasss”, first European Talent Cup champion, will compete alongside amazing riders like María Herrera in the Supersport World Championship.
They were able to reach this high level of competition thanks to Repsol’s support and commitment to talented young riders and competition.
