The FIM CEV Repsol arrives in Jerez for the seventh and penultimate round of the year
The FIM CEV Repsol arrives in Jerez for the seventh and penultimate round of the year after the exciting meeting at Portimao, where South African Steven Odendaal secured the title of European Moto2 Champion. This next weekend –in which Moto3 and Superbike will have two races and Moto2, one– could also be the place where the rest of the winners could be revealed. At the Junior World Championship, 31 points separate the leader, Lorenzo Dalla Porta, from Marcos Ramirez; while in the biggest displacement category, Carmelo Morales dominates with a 17-point advantage over Maximilian Scheib.
As it happened in the last few years in every round of this international series, some of the teams that take part in the MotoGP World Championship also compete at the FIM CEV Repsol. The high level of the series allows them to support the same idea for both competitions, working to promote young talents. It is the case of teams such as the Leopard Junior Stratos, the Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0’0, the MRW-Mahindra Aspar Team, among others, in Moto3; or of the AGR Team, the Ajo Academy or the Race Experience, in Moto2.
